How Mobile Software Solutions handles personal information when you visit this website, send a project enquiry or arrange an introductory meeting.

1. Scope and privacy contact
Mobile Software Solutions (“MSS”, “we”, “us”) uses personal information to operate this website and manage communications about our services. For privacy questions or requests relating to information we handle, email info@mobile-software-solutions.com. You can use this address without completing the project form.
This policy concerns our website and initial business communications. It does not govern personal information processed inside client applications shown in our portfolio. The operators of those products provide their own privacy notices. Any processing we undertake on a client’s behalf is subject to the relevant service and data-processing agreements.
2. Information we collect
- Project enquiries: your name, work email, optional company or project name, selected project type, message and acknowledgement of the website terms and privacy policy.
- Correspondence: information you choose to share by email, our replies and details needed to understand and follow up on your request.
- Meeting arrangements: the contact details and booking information you provide when arranging a meeting, such as its date, time and any answers entered on the booking page.
- Technical information: our hosting and form service providers may process your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps and security or spam-detection information when delivering and protecting the website.
Fields marked as required are needed to handle an enquiry through the form. Providing an optional company name is your choice. If you prefer not to use the form or booking service, you can contact us by email instead.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, our reasons for processing information are:
- Responding to requests and preparing proposals: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, where you are the prospective contracting party. When you contact us on behalf of an organisation, we rely on our legitimate interest in communicating with that organisation and assessing a potential business relationship.
- Arranging meetings and following up: the same pre-contractual purpose or legitimate interest in managing the business communication you initiated.
- Operating and protecting the website: our legitimate interest in delivering a reliable service, investigating technical issues and preventing spam, misuse and unauthorised access.
- Legal obligations and claims: compliance with applicable legal duties, and our legitimate interest in establishing, exercising or defending legal claims where necessary.
A project enquiry is not a newsletter subscription or consent to unrelated promotional emails. Where we ask for consent for a separate activity, we will explain that activity and how to withdraw consent. Acknowledging this policy does not waive your privacy rights.
The enquiry form does not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Project-fit decisions are not made by the website’s interactive estimator.
4. Sharing and service providers
Information may be accessed by people handling your enquiry and by the service providers needed to host the website, deliver messages and arrange meetings. We do not sell project-enquiry information.
- Netlify: hosts the website and provides its form-processing service. Information submitted through the form is sent to Netlify for processing and management of the submission. See Netlify’s Privacy Statement and data-protection information.
- Calendly: provides our external scheduling page. When you choose to book, Calendly processes booking information for the meeting organiser and also processes certain information for its own purposes as described in its Privacy Notice. This website links to Calendly; it does not embed its booking widget.
- Communication and meeting services: email and any calendar or conferencing services used for our correspondence or meeting may process the contact details and message or invitation content needed to deliver it.
Information may also be disclosed where required by law, to respond to a lawful request, or where necessary to obtain professional advice or protect legal rights. Sharing for these purposes is limited to the information relevant to the situation.
5. International processing
Providers used for hosting, communications and scheduling may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Data-protection laws in those locations may differ from those in your country.
Where European data-transfer rules apply, a transfer must be covered by an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, unless a permitted exception applies. The providers’ linked data-protection materials explain their transfer arrangements. You can contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry.
6. Retention
Enquiry and correspondence records are kept for as long as needed to respond, complete any active proposal discussion and maintain a relevant record of that communication. In deciding whether continued retention is necessary, we consider whether a discussion remains active, the nature of the information, any request you have made and applicable legal obligations or claim periods.
If an enquiry becomes a client engagement, relevant records form part of the project relationship and are retained according to its contractual and legal requirements. Information that is no longer needed is to be deleted or anonymised; information required for a legal obligation or dispute may need to be retained longer for that purpose.
You can ask us to delete an unsuccessful enquiry or explain the retention criteria applicable to your information. Retention is determined by these criteria, rather than a single period applicable to every record.
8. Your rights
Depending on the law that applies and the circumstances, you may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of processing or a portable copy of information you provided. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Email info@mobile-software-solutions.com, preferably from the address used for your enquiry, and tell us which right you wish to exercise. We may request only the additional information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and locate the relevant records. Please do not send identity documents unless they are specifically needed and requested.
Where the GDPR applies, requests are normally answered within one month. If the law permits an extension because a request is complex or numerous, we will explain the reason within that first month. Requests are normally free of charge, subject to the limited exceptions permitted by law.
You may lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority competent for your circumstances, including in the EU country where you live, work or believe an infringement occurred. In Spain, this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD). You do not have to contact us first to exercise that right.
9. Security and sensitive information
No internet transmission or storage service can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep initial enquiries focused on your project goals, and do not include passwords, financial account details, sensitive personal information or personal data about others that you are not authorised to share.
The website is intended for professional enquiries, not to solicit information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the site, or you suspect that information has been disclosed inappropriately, contact our privacy email so we can address it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website, its providers or applicable requirements change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Where a change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it as required.
For questions about this policy or the information associated with your enquiry, contact info@mobile-software-solutions.com.
